Yasmin, whose mother was just a seamstress, was a child from a poor family. She really wanted to experience life at the boarding school and was finally able to go to the boarding house, even if she only delivered an order for clothes from a Nyai, or caretaker of the boarding school. One day, Yasmin was invited by one of the students to experience life at the boarding house.
When you read this book, you will get a little shock because the language used in this book is Bahasa Indonesian and Madurese. The readers may find it difficult to understand the storyline of the novel because of the language used. But for Madurese people, this is easy to understand, even as it becomes more interesting (Madura Pride). The story of this novel is very touching for people who want to learn but are hampered by the family economy.
In my opinion, this book is highly recommended for people who like mellow stories. In general, this book is very interesting because we can learn some lessons from reading it.
